Atlanta area question..

I'll be traveling next week to Fla. from Cinci.Oh. area with my truck & trailer to pick up a car (non-turbo ) and would like to stop about halfway for the night. What I'd like to know is if you could recommend a fairly reasonable and reasonably safe (to park my rig) exit and motel to stay at just south of Atlanta. TIA !

I would recommend Macon GA off of 75. It's about an hour and 30 min South of Atlanta. Lots of businesses. I have never stayed the night but I have stopped there several times. There is every restaurant you can think of and probably your best bet. Hope that helps. Mike
