Again, I would like to see dyno reports of a car ran with stock headers, then with ATR headers or whoevers, done the same day, with the same car. That would be proof for me.

Of course, I am talking about a car in the mid to low 12 second range. I also do not believe there is anything to gain with headers at that point.

My drivers side ATR header bracket has cracked. I have not checked into why it has in enough depth to determine the cause, I THINK I know why. (Damn Trans brake):D

I don't think they will make you slower.I put ATR headers on my car when it was mostly stock and it went quicker in the 1/8th.Turbo cars arent as affected by headers like naturally aspirated cars.Backpressure needs to be as close to non existent as possible for quicker spool. You may go slower you may not that is just speculation.I agree you don't need them but they are nice and will be even better in the future after heads and cam work.If you have the $ and don't mind spending $900 for headers IMO there are none better.

Ive had 3 DS ATR headers crack and i have 2 other friends that had the same thing happen:) The money people spend on new headers is a waste of money i think. I would still be running stock headers if i didnt find a good deal on these used ATR headers. JMHO The money should go towards other parts that really help make more power instead:) $900 for headers and another $600 for the rest of the exhaust. Take that $1500 and buy a set of heads or bigger turbo. My stock headers took me into the 9,s
