I saw a video where they programmed the motor to play a song. they just hit play on the laptop and it went through a series of rpms that played something like a xmas song.

thats pretty awesome, I too have heard the engines programmed to play songs, I've heard more than a couple too.

I wonder if that guy standing to the right had hearing protection in or if he was just standing there trying to look tough by not covering his ears. You can see a guy that moves to behind the car that eventually decides hes not too cool and covers them halfway lol.

in the earlier shots you can see an orange thing hanging from his year... looks like he has earplugs in.

I got a friend who will never wear earplugs either... went to an IRL race, he was still hollering answering his phone 4 days later.

F1 engines are naturally aspirated... But they do make more HP per CID than a Top fuel dragster. The new engines that they are making turn 20k RPM...

that thing idles at 9000 rpms.There goes my idea of putting it in a grocery getter.
