B Pillar molding replacement

I'm going to replace my b pillar moldings. It looks like the door weatherstrip has to be removed. Is this how it is done or is there an easier way to do this? Any hints to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.

There really is no shortcut unfortunately; you have to peel the weatherstrip back and hopefully don't tear it, unscrew the weatherstrip retainer and then you can access the screws for the molding when the retainer is out of the way.
