Bad fuel pump?

Drove car home , went to start two days later and pump is not priming, has power to tank, has a hot wire kit. Fuse is good and relay is good. I guess pump went bad . I'm gonna drop the tank and pull pump and run direct Power to it . I checked everything else so that's my last resort. Sending unit needed to be replaced anyways . Could it be anything else. ?

Could have lost a ground but you'll never know externally. Drop it and end the wonder. I'm sure you know it's not that hard to do. 15 minutes or less worst case.

When you have the tank down check both sides of the bulk head connector ( yellow one at top of tank ) . If you did not install a HD intermidiate harness now is the time to do it . Just a thought , did you try putting power to the fuel pump prime wire ( grey single connector just behind the alternator ) to see if the hot wire relay pulls in ?

No I haven't tried that . I'll give that a shot

I tried it, I can here relay engaging but no pump noise.

So I'll drop tank tomorrow any recommended sending units and fuel pumps? I had a walbro pump in car worked good for last seven years. I have a racetronix pump in my ta.
