No sensor detected usually is something other than the sensor itself....
Plug it in, turn it on.. Getting warm?
Did you check for power to it?

Look at the instructions that came with. There should be a callout for the circuits. Check the plug pins.

Okay...fired the car up with the O2 sensor removed and after about 25 secs..it started to heat up....im thinking the sensors good. Possibly bad gauge

Ill recheck the plug pins for looseness....its crazy because it just worked..then "BAM"

Check the pins, then turn it on, out of the pipe, Spray some carb cleaner on a rag, and wrap the sensor in it...Get a reading, on the ga? If not, hook the volt meter to the signal wire, and see if you get a reading, if so, the sensor is working, and the ga is fubar.
