Bailey 2 step cel

Installed a bb 2 step today and have a cel. The 2 step works but for a 2000 trigger cut it needs about 3600 on the switches same with the main cut took 8000 rpm to rev the engine freely to rev in N to about 3800 rpm.

Going to check what code is being thrown today but would imagine its ignition related. Any chance a poor crimp could cause this ? I do plane on soldering all the connections when I get time.

Code 42 ignition. Anyone know if it's because I'm using an 85 ccci ?

All the connections are soldered and correct.

Is that 85ccci hot wired?
