Bass blockers for 3 1/2 speakers

where do you get these bass blockers? I'm looking to upgrade my factory front speakers. How do the blockers connect?

You can buy them at Best Buy or Circuit City...about $10 for a pair. You hook them up right at the speakers. remove the positive lead of each speaker and hook one end of the blocker to this lead. Hook the other lead of the blocker to the speaker connection you just vacated.

Blockers are nothing more than capacitors which, depending upon their value, only pass sound above certain frequencies and block the lower frequencies. Keeps your tweeters from being damaged by bass frequencies when you turn the sound way up.
