Ran a 12" 2800 stall and a 9.5 3000. Spooled about the same with both.

Thoughts on how this would work on a production block 4.1 with champion irons, comp 212/212 roller, 8.0:1 compression, and a 2800 stall in 4000lb streetcar? Looking for a street turbo that won't run out of breath against a 600hp goal on good gas.

Ran it on a 3.8 with roller 212/212, AL heads and 12" 2800 stall. ran 11.12 @ 124.xx at 25# with a 1.7 60'

I have been staring at it a while, price scares me a bit with an older technology.

It should scare you...low 10 sec turbo! It's a proven turbo period!!! Old new blah blah blah...I've squeezed 120 MPH out of an "older technology" TE60. (y)

Great turbo old or not, ran one with a 5-disc vigilante..spooled great ..75lb/min turbo easy

In a weak economy, this is a lot of bang for the buck. It has a long history of being a favorite in the Buick community. Ask anyone about their 66 and see if you can find anyone who doesn't or didn't love it. How much does a new 700 hp turbo cost ?

If you want to play a roll in getting the economy rolling, vote for someone who doesn't refer to use as the major problem in the world.
