Is there a way to get the size for a rod bearing when it is torqued to recommended lbs? When a 10 under bearing is in the rod and torqued to 80 lbs what is the inside diameter of the bearing? If this number is available and you know the crank journal size one can make a bearing decision.I have done a search and didnt find this information. Thanks

Couple of reasons why your question can’t be answered, what kind of rods, what is the original spec on the big end, are they within spec on the big end, etc?
The determining factor for bearing clearances is,
If the crank has been mic’d, take that number from the original spec numbers on the crank and factor in what clearances you want to achieve. This is assuming the rods are within spec too.
You also could place a bearing shell in the rod and torque, then measure. And if the crank has been measured, subtract the crank numbers from the rod numbers and that's the clearance you have.
No I’m not a stage man but it makes no difference when setting up main and rod clearances.
