I have done almost everything on gnttype.com but dint seam to help much:mad:   :

If your running 110 alot make sure you put a heated O2 in it. Then get a T link and make sure your car is running to its full potential. Maybe the civic was modded heavily.

Thats what I was thinking. How fast is your car? ET/mph? Need to have something to gauge by here. Those Hondas are already quite a bit lighter than ours and when they start to make them even lighter and mod the heck out of the engines they do get faster (15s  :D ).
There was a 2000 pound one around here that was running 12s.

The main question here is what is your car running (what state of tune is it in?). They have to do all kinds of crap ($$) to go a tenth of a second faster. We do half the crap they do and go seconds faster ;) .

I ran a 13.6 at 96 with a stock turbo, injectors, headers, dp, crossover, fuel pump, t/c. Had the boost up to 22 psi with 110 in the tank. I don't know what my current setup is going to run. Hopefully I will know bye end of this month.

the sad thing is, is that it was a stock civic si. how can you be running a 13.6 on stock setup. I have full blown stock setup and getting beat by civics:mad: what all did you do:confused:

consider this

What everyone has to consider is that, no civic runs faster than 15 stock. Given that, you must find out what you are running to get beaten by a 15 sec civic. Just upping boost and opening up the exhaust will not get you faster. When you run race gas, you are cooling down the motor so that your fuel fires more effectively. One problem, your car needs to be properly tuned in order to take advantage of that. You may run 14's, but very unlikely if your car is not tuned well. All the guages you can think of are basically needed. Boost, water temp, oil pressure, tach, and even an air fuel ratio guage will help. Gert your car monitored. The Turbo link is a great investment, and there is tons of online help once you get started. You get your car tuned, you run 13's with just racegas and no other mods. The civic's are made as a high rpm car that can run a good mile track, but not a quarter. 15 sec is the fastest I can think stock, but then again, I have a brother with an 11 sec civic, that looks bone stock. (sleepers)---it always helps to know your competition. Get your car tuned, and then you can forget about civic's and start worrying about other GN's. Good luck!

Ouch!!! Now I dont fell as bad losing to that turbo RX7. Good luck w/ the tuning and you must REDEEM yourself!!!

I have found help there is a guy in my town that has an 87 GN
that runs a mid 12. He said he would hook me up with some tools that I need. He has got the new turbolink system and some parts that he said might help me out.Bought a new factory TPS sensor
from the dealership.
Going to his place on thursday to scan it. I hope we can fix it.
Because I cant lose to a stock civic si ever again:D
