Besides your Buick, what the best car you've owned?

i had a 2001 camaro ss that was a pretty good car & no problems. after i paid it off in 2005, i didnt wait for the title to it. i took it to BILL TURD CHEVY and got me a 2005 vette. i sometimes wish i'd kept that car for a dd and also it was a good bracket racer.

laugh all you want, but the car the took the worst beating, & most reliable, was the 79 ford fiesta, aka BAMF. that car could not be killed. 1 week after I bought it, I hit a deer & totaled it. I used comealongs to pull the front end out, dropped a new radiator in it the beat on it for another year. this also included 4 wheeling where most 4x4's could not go.

My favorite car besides my GN isn't exactly a car.It's my 92 Bronco 5.8L. I bought it in September, it's my new DD.It's fun to drive and can go anywhere in the winter.I've never been much of a car person.If I'm not hotrodding in the GN I prefer to drive a truck.

I've loved every car I ever owned but a few have stood out. The most well rounded car I had, and I hate to say this, was a '95 Ford, SHO. The car did everything well. (The ex got it in the split) The "It Never Broke" award and barely 2nd to the SHO, goes to my current wife's old '90 LeSabre. Plenty of power from the 3800 and when it died from a crash it had 240,000 plus miles and was still going strong with a 28 mpg average to boot. We sold the car for parts and the engine is still running in another car. It's hard to beat our current Caravan for convience but it's just not that much fun to cruise. My all time fun car though would be my '68 Camaro SS 396. That car was a blast and had some great times in it. Still got that one, it needs restoring but one day it will be back.

The car I loved the most was my 1976 honda accord cvcc 2 dr hatch.My dad put 120,000 on it and I killed it at 216,000.I miss my 70 chevelle and 70 grand sport though.I like the Zr1 but that car passes everthing but a gas statiion:biggrin: And last but not least my 1996 century that I am putting an engine and trans in right now #2 piston let loose with only 106,000 on it My brother in law has 267,000 on his 04 grand prix an still going strong .I almost forgot my 76 granada .That car was cool:biggrin:

Corsair, I was reading your sig and that reminded me of when I lived in Truckee, CA (Lake Tahoe) I ran a mini self storage next door to the Truckee airport and in one of the hangers there was, I believe a F4U-1, it looked like the pic below and Man o MAN that aircraft was simply AWESOME! It sounded like a top fuel dragster everytime he started it up, and it was the loudest airplane at the airport. It rumbled the whole place when he would do a fly by. I only saw it about 3 times.

It's bland and utilitarian but rock solid- '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the venerable 4.0 inline 6. Best and most dependable vehicle I've ever owned with over 155,000 trouble free miles. Still rides like new and maintains great oil pressure!

I too has a Bronco. Mine was an 87 with 33in tires. I had a Light bar, brush guard, visor and soft top for it. Easily the best looking truck in my town. Also not a bad mud truck. :biggrin:

Mine would have to be my old 87 Toyota 4x4 pickup. I bought if for $600 bucks and drove it for 8 years. It was rusty and slow, but that 22re would not die. I towed w/ it, drove it to Cali twice, and generaly beat the crap out of it. The only reason its still not on the road is that after living its whole life in Ohio, the frame rusted out and broke. That was a sad day.
