Well... I need a cat on my car :( I got a nice little warning from the long arm of the law today about my inspection sticker and I cant get it inspected until I have cats.... I went just to see if it was passable, and everything was good except the NOX. Also, how many cats did this car come with from the factory?

Im looking on JEGS.com for some High flow units, but there are quite a few choices.

Our cars came with 1 cat under the passenger side of the floorboard. Check with some of the vendors on the home page, most of them have 3 in cats for sale. Some are even direct fit.;)

There is no high flow cat imo. But the stock one flows a lot better than most replacements. It also lasts a lot longer and works much better than aftermarket ones. I just went through CT emissions with mine and a 20 year old stock cat with over 100k on it. CO was .01. HC was 16 ppm. NOx was 259 If you are failing NOx, your EGR system needs attention.

I have run some Magnaflow hi flo cats on my n/a LS1 with large cam/ported heads/long tube headers with dual 3" everything, no emissions equip aside from cats, and aggressive ECM programming and they cleaned up the air nicely. Idle was horrible; however 2500rpm was super clean on the sniffer.

Contact Magnaflow and see what they recommend... then buy them on eBay to save a ton.

I have a Random cat on my car. Times in my sig were run with the cat in place. IMO, my car's performance ain't too shabby for a "little" TA49 and 93 octane + alky thru the cat.

I've got one too for emissions for both my cars, been used about a week in 4 total emissions trips on the two cars.

It's mint. :p

Fit well with the mease pipe, not so good with the Houston, nothing a sawzall couldn't fix. ;)
