I have the Poston headers, and they are very good. Kinda pricy though, but they seem to have great service as well.

headers

I have A.T.R.'s about $800 but stainless and don't have to worry about same problem later, or rust going through your turbine while moving at 130,000 r.p.m.'s

Poston's, If they ever crack, they'll replace them. ;)

You would really want to go ahead and get their crossover too. You would have to do some patch work to make the stocker work.

If you cannot afford the ATR SS units the Poston headers provide an affordable alternative, and as stated before if they crack Poston will replace them.

I recently had my passenger side crack, and I sent it back to them. They gave me a new header with no questions asked.... Can customer service get much better then that?

Poston Header Question

I was just looking at the headers in my Postons catalog. They recommend that you use their header gaskets and turbo gasket.
Is it necessary to use the gaskets?Or are they just trying to sell more parts?

I have the posten headers and gaskets on my car. it wouldn't hurt to use them because you really don't want them to leak. I also used there crossover pipe and header to turbo gasket with great results. Mo leaks and good performance.

Are your postens headers still the same color as when you bought it?

After the third day of having mines on, i took my car to get its engine steam cleaned by a detail shop. Since that day, it looks as if the there is a white haze over them. They are not that beautiful silver anymore.

I've heard in other posts that you should not use copper gaskets if you do not have leaks. The copper gaskets distort the mating surfaces. So from then on you must use the copper gaskets or have the mating surface machined flat again.

Maybe I'm just slow, but I had a cracked Poston drivers side header. How long after you bought them will they give you a replacement. I ordered a ATR stainless drivers side replacement.
The cross over and passenger side are o.k and still on the car.

If they do replace parts that go bad with no hassle, I'd go with the Postons. I don't care for the gaskets that came with them though. I'd use Felpro 1400's.

I wish I used 1400's, i have a passenger leak right after install, and i torqued em nice and slow all around.

Just my 2 cents

Scott
