Got an email saying that someone sent me money via Paypal. Running a business I of course get these all the time EXCEPT I didn't actually get an order from this person so I was sort of suspicious. Besides the payment was for an odd amount.

Sent the email to Paypal and they already got back to me within 2 hours that it was indeed a fake. Glad I didn't click on anything.

This thing really looked authentic so be careful out there!

I got one the other day thanking me for buy thier TV for $389.00 !!!!... looked very good !!! scam bastards

I also get those emails. Also keep a look out for any ebay type mail asking for your acct.

Usually there are couple easy ways to spot the scams.

1st Paypal always addresses you by name in their emails. Must of the scams don't. They use Paypal Customer or Paypal Member. 2nd let you mouse rest of the link and it will show the real address it is linked to which is never paypal.
