that just proves that the TurboBuick.Com Nationals are better... it is only 1/8 mile racing & those that fear there combo can scatter parts after just a few 1/4 mile passes should embrace the 1/8 mile racing. :tongue:Most of the really fast cars were just running the eigth mile and letting off. Saving it for qualifying and elims on saturday.

Stop by the GNS tent to see an all original 330,000 mile Grand National and speak to the owner on how he has kept it up all these years! Stock turbo, stock timing chain!!!!
His name is Bob and him and his car will be at our tent all day today (friday)...

Noone has started an official picture thread yet so I was able to get ones like these. There are lots of people taking pics but I think Im the only one with this one
I believe this was after a 6 second pass
I wonder if they will decide to move the event to this time of year, considering the perfect weather? Keep the updates coming..
yea it is smart if you don't think your combo can hold together. there are 3 reasons to not run it out the back door of the 1/4.I'd say that is actually pretty smart on their part.
there's a 4th reason..
4. The rods are swapping holes at the starting line, and you still try to make it to the 1/8th!!
THS car went 9.90 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
