BHJ balancer

If the outer ring on a BHJ balancer has slipped around the hub a few degrees is it junk? I have been told that this situation is normal for this brand and is of no concern....

It is not normal and is of great concern. Contact BHJ to have them re-seat it in the correct position.

What makes you think it has slipped? The BHJ balancers come with a crank referance of around 6 degrees vs the stock 10 degrees.

I should have added, if you have a stock ECM, it will not be correct, with a FAST system, you can compensate for the small difference as Cal described.

BHJ

The balancer is way more than 3 degrees off . Dave from Webber remarked TDC and it apparently moved again because his mark is now several degrees off. I am trying to do the initial start up on my stage II. BTW I am running a Gen 7. I think that I have control over those timing issues?
