Well it started on saturday when we had a blackout from about 3:00 p.m. to about 2:00 a.m. sunday. It was
about 11:30 p.m. my neighbors and I were hanging out on my driveway with my dog, when someone walking down the sidewalk decided to come try hanging with us when my dog got up and chased the guy to about the grassline that touches the curb on the street. The guy happened to trip and fall acroos the street on the curb. The dog didnt even touch him. My dog is not vicious at all, and gets along well with others and my 3 children. The guy happened to be my 19 year old neighbor. He comes to my house the next day, even after hanging out with the neighbors that stood outside while i went to go to sleep, to tell me that he broke his arm and has no insurance, so he and his guardian want me to call my homeowners insurance to file a claim. I told her no, file a report if your so sure my dog is at fault. Does she have a case. Thanks Rudy

Depends on who saw it, what they saw, and how much you want to spend on attorney fees.

Well she called the cops and they talked, but the cop drove off, didnt even stop to talk to me.

This is all happening the next day. If this gold digger thinks they have a case they will file one and you will get a summons. Until then I wouldn't sweat it. Half the things you worry about you can't do anything about and the other half happen anyway.

Only my friends saw what happened, and as a matter of fact they told me the 19 year old guy showed up to hang out after i went in the house. The funny thing is that the neighbors puny mutt hopped the fence and scared the kid to the point he ran up one of my friends cars, and scratched it up and dented the hood, and also fell from the hood. The 2nd dog is a puppy that most likely wont grow any more than 2 1/2 feet.

Actually its been 3 days and today they have a problem. They really are golddiggers.

They probably have a case against you. What state do you live in?

He was FINE when you went to bed! Riiiiight???

His overreaction to another incident due solely to his own irrational fear caused him to break his arm while he was on your property without your knowledge and/or consent. I'd consider filing a tresspassing report with witness testimony to the other dogs and his returning while you weren't present outside. Take your own photo's to present the ppolice with while having the damaged vehicle there for their inspection to the report, to cover your likely eventual usage of it in small claims court. Or it could get worse than that with a lawsuit seeking damages, in which case that will become much more handy. CYA now.

Im in Illinois,
Thanks I think ive got this under control. Looks as though he still hasnt gone to the hospital. He has a bandage around it that looks like he got from the local drugstore. Ive got ten witness that were with me at the time, he only has himself as a witness. I appreciate the help TTFN (LOL)

Sounds like he fell on some one else's property to me! Also he's a adult so why does he need a guardian?

He sure is an adult, but to me hes just a kid with no future whatsoever. Always asking for money or a cigarette. Total bums and gold diggers to me.
