My blinker wont reset after I make a left hand turn, works correct when I put it on for the right side. What might this be ? If its a easy fix I might give it a shot, if not I will just have to live with it for now. Thanks

- remove horn ring screws at sides , twist out horn contact
-pull the steering wheel (you need a steering wheel puller.. about 12.00 at parts store )
, remove safatey clip, remove nut , remove strg wheel with puller
-pry the plastic cover off the lockout plate
-remove the lockout plate (you need a lockout plate removal tool.. about 18.00 at parts store )
depress plate , remove retainer ring ..a pick and small screwdriver make it easier to remove
-slide off the canceling cam disc ..
flip it and look at underside, theres two high spots (lobes ) if one is worn down thats the problem but its usually ok and not the return problem

now you can see the turn signal assembly..
theres two small return springs... one of yours is broken
they sell the return springs at the auto parts store ... Dorman 49312

Damn pacecarta, that was an awesome write up! Thanks for that!!!!!

Sounds like you are low on blinker fluid. Google it and read up on how to add some.

Or.......the turn signal mechanism is done wore out, as stated above.
