With the AC on My BLMs at idle are normal "128" Turn the AC off BLMs at idle climbs to 150:confused: And exhaust smells rich. Turn the AC on, BLMs goes down to 128 and no rich exhaust smell. Could a bad PCV be the cause?

Thanks

Wish TurboDave saw this one because it could be one of your setting with the Trans+ and extender but I am not familiar with that setup, just read some stuff on here before about it.

What you have for TPS and IAC?
TPS .42 IAC 24 w/AC off, 40 w/AC on.
Trans+ Settings: on/on/off/off, MAF:1(car won't idle-dies on 3,4,5, settings.)MAF WOT:1, Spark base:3(98oct), Spark WOT:F
FP 45#line off,New (Delco 109 Heated) O2 sensor. Also on the Freeway when I let off the gas(coasting) O2s don't 0.00 anymore. I get O2s #s 0.25-0.50 with rumbling in the pipes? I just got the Extender chip runs GREAT except for this problem, Could it be the chip? I guess I'll reinstall my other chip(JL 110) and see if everything goes back to normal.

Thanks
Guy

Hmmm, well, let's take the easy part first. The reason your O2's don't drop off to 0.00 during deceration is: I think that the DFCO (deceleratation fuel cut-off) has been disabled in the Extenders, or at least "changed", but it's been so long since I checked into that I can't remember. So that's probably the reason for that one.

As to why the BLM's are changing so radically, this is a poser. You shouldn't have to run a 3" MAF in BASE 1, there's something amiss there and probably has something to do with why things are happening the way they are. Try reseting the ECM and see if the BLM's still want to tend the way they are. I would suspect something amiss in the vacuum department. Maybe an old PCV, or wrong PCV, or a cracked hose someplace. This may very well be "toughy" to find.

I have the same problem, at the suggestion of Jim Testa, I have to run my 3 in on 3.5 in settings. It works fine on the 3.5 settings.

Make sure you dont have a one way check valve in the pcv line kiddies.
I chased a high BLM problem for months on my car and that is what it turned out to be. Before removal of it, my BLM's would creep up to 150 after, they settled nicely at 124-126 even after prolonged idling.
I just recently tried to reinstall it to humor myself and they went back into the 140+ range. Removed it and they were back in the 124-126. Pretty freaky.
Btw, make sure you reset the computer and drive it around for awhile before taking new BLM readings.
Thats what I always do. I like to drive it for an hour to get the car nice and warmed up and I also try to hit as many traffic lights as I can.
