block and head deck

how many of you had your block and heads deck , how much did they cut from the heads and the block and what pushrod size are you using

We do it to every block and head.

On the head, only enough to clean it up, make it flat. Usually .005-.007.

The block depends on its use. For a performance build, .010 or more, less for street use, just enough to make it true.

What ever it takes. Need to measure with an adjustable pushrod to find the correct length for each valve.
