There is a long sanding board. There is also paper sold that fits it. About 2" wide, maybe 15" long. I have one, just too hard to get to and measure. Eastwood sells them if you can't find one locally at a supplier. It will give your shoulders a workout. Oh yeah, always sand in a X pattern, especially when crossing body lines. Otherwise you make divots.
For wetsanding, I used to use sandpaper wrapped around a paint stick. I use the durablock now.......primarily the 1 1/4" X 11" with progressively finer papers. Easy to handle and makes for a flat, no texture, finish.........as in mirror.
