Block Width

Need a favor from some of you that may have a STGII block laying around. (and a stock/stgI if you can).

Can you measure the EXACT width across the bottom of the block at the motor mount pads.
I need to compare a stage block, and a stock block (that I have) and (1) see if they're the same, and (2) compare that to the Indy stage block that I have that I know is significantly wider.
(10.269" across to be exact)

This way I can approach HR Parts N Stuff about a pair or two of custom mounts.

I measured two stage-2, 153 blocks & a 109 block & they seem to be the same width. 9 3/8" & this is with a tape measure, but they seem to be the same @ the pads.

I believe stage 1 and 2 are the sam width as stock. seeings that they all bolt in place with the same mounts. WIth the exception of an on center stage 2

I checked two Stg11 #16 blocks and one SG-109 block and there all 9 3/8" with a tape.

Good, that'll get me pretty close. The math works out that these Indy's are .880" wider across the motor mounts.

So, I'll have to have each mount modified inboard by .440"
