I keep looking at the photo and can't figure out how the block received this kind of damage without beating the main cap up. Is the main cap damaged ?

I forgot to mention its a carb motor not f.i just want to kno if its still good has .60 pistons

These blocks arent really hard to come by. Personally .060 over cylinders, and the front milled off I would scrap it.

You won't see it with the timing cover installed
