As the title says. I was having a big A/F spike setting off my knock sensor (9 degrees)in the same spot in third gear at the track sunday. As a result I lifted after the 1/8 mile mark on all passes. (Read "6776 track results" in the Turbo section)

I have determined with my low mph and low rpm drop of only 300 or so rpms between shifts that the 3200 converter is maybe too loose. Dusty Bradford is taking care of the restall.

Is it possible since I was maxed on rpm's that it was creating knock? All fuel and alky numbers were good as posted in the other thread.

blowing thu

I'm having the same problems , but no knock. I'm thinking of having my converter restalled too. I moved the boost up 5# and made only .07 in the et's and no differance in mph. but i'm happing i'm running 6.8's for a change at 20#
Dusty is a great person to help us out with these problems.

What stall speed are you running and what would you like it restalled to?

I am hoping the knock is caused by the motor just zinging away at high rpms...just like a motor on the dyno without enough water to put a load on it.

I was driving through my Precision converter, up to 6000RPM. But the engine was not detonating up there. Similar setup as yours, 6776RH, 210/210 cam, ported intake and heads. 100 octane and meth on top of that... A/F in the low 11's the whole way.

Once upon a time I had some lean out issues up top, back when the car was running high 11's with a PT51 and 009's. The injector duty cycle / injector pulsewidth was dropping out for some reason. Check your logs and see what the injector pulsewidth was doing.

Sorry to say but I have not stepped up to a powerlogger. Only a scanmaster and an LM-1 Wideband with the rpm logger. I have no way of checking inj pulse width.
