For boost controllers like the AEM Tru Boost...is an external wastegate required (and therefore, I assume, an aftermarket downpipe), or is there a way to use the controllers in conjuction with an internal wastegate? Been doing a lot of reading, but haven't found an explicit answer to this.

If the controllers can be used with an internal wastegate, what else besides the Tru Boost is necessary to implement one on a mostly stock setup (only mods will be alky and requisite upgrades for alky)? This is a low mileage car that I want to keep stock appearing (except for Razor's alky setup) as much as possible.

Thanks,
Ira

most of the electronic can likely be suited for either or? did you download the manual? it should show the different set ups. try a manual bleeder type first.
