Boost issue.

Hey guys, I need some help on an issue. Apparently my car loves alot of boost. This is what I have. TE-44, non-adjustable waste gate, Boost controller, which is screwed all the way out.. I am running around 20-22 lbs of boost and cannot get it any lower. I am also noticing sometimes, that in
2nd and 3rd my scanmaster is showing 14 degrees of knock. My fuel pressure with line off is 43 lbs, Which I have adjusted up and down.. All of my scanmaster readings are within tolerance.. I also cut a loop out of my spring in the wastegate with no change in boost. If I can get rid of the knock, I may just leave the boost alone. Any Ideas? Thanks....

What kind of wastegate are you running, stock style??? That you can cut a piece of the spring out of ?????

Yes,, I have already cut one loop out of the spring, with no change.. The wastegate looks just like an adjustable, but is not.. Do you think I should cut more out of it until the boost comes down? Thanks

I would be inclined to replace it actually. With an adjustable. It almost sounds like the diaphram might be leaking boost, not allowing to regulate boost properly.
