Boosted 3800 in RWD?

First off, was there a car offered with the supercharged engine but in a rear wheel drive config? I sure can't think of one. More importantly, if one wanted to run that engine in an older car does anyone know what trans will bolt to this thing? Is there an adapter available so that a traditional BOP will bolt to it? Thanks for any help.

I don't think GM put one out but the conversion has been done.

I'm doing it right now. Almost done. trying to finish by Power Tour - Minnesota F-Body Club I haven't put up any recent pics lately on the f body forum but I've had some elsewhere.

I have seen it done a few times to american cars but the aussies got several rwd 3800 sc cars from gm

there is a video around of an f body with 3800/m90 sc

Dave at triple edge performance has done a 3800/m90 in a mid 80's rwd cutlass as well as a turboed 3800 in an 85 gn that you can find links to in the hybrids section on here

Dave is a member on here with trannyman 95 as his screen name - he is a trans specialist but does swaps , porting , engine building etc.. and is currently developing a conversion kit to m90 a 3800 f body
