Today when I when to take the car out for a little spin, I found that the brake light was on and the pedal was hard. Well did a search and found that one of the problem could be a blowen fuse, well it was. My question is what causes this fuse to blow. Is this a normal problem? Thanks for any input.

I have the same problem and am replacing the brake switch. Lets see how it works after replacing it. I hope thats it and not the PM motor.

The sw recall was for leaks, not shorts, AIRC.

It was the pressure switch on my car that caused the pump motor to run forever. They are poorly cooled and it got hot...so hot I could smell what I thought was somebody burning trash outside...then it popped the fuse.
