Just checked the 2010 race schedule for the Madras Oregon drag strip and they are planning a BOP (plus Cad) race day on Sunday May 30th.
For those who have never been to Madras it is different from any other drag strip I've seen. It's only 1/8th mile and located in the high desert country of central Oregon. The track has been going for at least 50 years and is run and supported by local racing enthusiests. The facilities are pretty basic but the compitition is as strong as you'll see anywhere.
The people there are what make it fun. It's all very laid back and everyone is your friend. I try to go there at least once a year. It would be nice to see if a few more Buick guys could make it and show them what our cars can do.
