Hahaha my bad I wrotet that in a rush when my Chief and everybody was walking around the office!
Basically I was wondering what else would I need to convert my car to a Hot Air but with using an Edelbrock Intake Manifold? I already have a 86 ECM and a Hot Air Wiring Harness.
Can I use a LT1 Throttle body and Maf? because I can get them for cheap, and I how much would you be letting whatever other parts I needed (I.e. sensors and what not) go for?
hahaha hopefully thats a bit better for you!

To use the edelbrock intake would require a lot of work to say the least. You'll need to add bungs for the injectors and the height may be an issue with hood clearance. Remember that the throttle body is in front of the turbo and not behind it and the intake is taller. You'd be better off adapting a FWD intake which would shorten the air flow path quite a bit.
Yeah the guy who offered the service on his site would add the bungs for the injectors and the fuel rails...didn't think about the height of the intake though...my friend is a pretty slick welder so I guess I could have him make a little mod to my hood (bigger power bulge ) but I hope it doesnt have to come to that.
Not for sure what you mean by the throttle body being in front of the turbo and not behind it though? So the LT1 wouldn't fit?
I didn't think the FWD intake would with our heads? ..Man Im going to have to look under my hood tomorrow and figure some stuff out...Thanks for letting me bug you again!
There are several FWD SFI intakes out there. The earliest one is the one you need and it fits the RWD heads. The one I'm talking about is SFI that used a distributor instead of a coil pack. I think it was 85-86 with the 3.8. The only catch is that it has to mounted so that the water outlet is at the rear of the engine.
Charlie I got this in the email the other day
Hi Brandon,
Thank you for your email.
The cost to modify your manifold is about $900.00
Fuel rails and mounting stanchions will cost about $575.00
Please let us know if you need further assistance.

That's for the Edelbrock Performer intake...I was also thinking of using an adapter to bolt on a bigger turbo...still just an idea though
Im going to start looking into your option you suggested as well but what car were you refering to with the SFI intake...and whats the disadvantages to having a water outlet at the rear of an engine?
LMAO why would you go to kinsler?
there Mechanical Fuel Injection specialist.
