Bosch O2 sensor

I dont know who has been saying that the Bosch O2 sensors dont code because mine just did code 13 , and this was after using a good amount of race gas C-16 with it over time . Seems they may have gotten a bad rap , i think they last longer than the GM sensors and Pepboys is easier than dealing with the local dealers . Ok just figured id post for informative purposes.

I've had 2 Bosch O2 sensors go out on me after using Xylene. The mixes weren't extremely diluted or anything, but still, both sensors went out on me either that night or the very next morning. I haven't used Xylene since, but plan to give it one last try. BTW, mine pulled code 44 both times with scanmaster readings of less than 100 O2 volts.

Ive never used the stuff , but the race gas kills sensors lfast , i actually was to try the Densio ones , they claim that they are more resistant who knows ?

I've been using a Bosch sensor for over a year with xylene and unleaded gas; works fine. Leaded gas will kill it quickly.
