I'll be interested to see if you get a boost spike with it. I've used a couple different ball/spring style controllers and I get a spike with all of them.

So far so good. I turned it all the way down to get a starting point had the wastegate just tight enough to hold the paddle shut. I hit about 14lbs. No spike. Boost came on pretty quick.

I gave it a few turns and got up to 18lbs with no spike. It seems to be worth the bucks. I did put in the stiffer spring.

I'll take a pic of the install and post up again

Thanks for the review. I look forward of the pic.

What turbo and actuator are you using? Did you port the stock wastegate hole at all?

Boost spike comes from puck hole being too small at the wastegate, try porting the puckhole as big as you can go without going over and this will get rid of all boost spike, did it to mine and before getting it done i was spiking almost 5 psi over the boost level that i had set it at then it will settle down to 21psi, after the porting was done boost stayed solid at 21 psi.. just my experience but what do i know. ;) my Terry houston puck was 1.2 inches in diameter, i ported the hole on the exhaust housing to 1.1 inches and it works great.

51 Turbo HD actuator from Precision. have done nothing to the hole.

Sorry guys I have been out of town and hadn't taken the pic, I'll shoot for tomorrow.

I have it bolted right behind the turbo but will be buying the extra stuff to move it inside the car.

Here is a shot not sure how good you can see it?

I used that one on my turbo C5 Corvette back in the day. Very nice, quality piece.
