OK Guys- My wife took my balls out of her purse and said I can go to BG this year and my 12 year old son is coming with me!

Last year I was checking on rooms and a town about 15 miles from BG had a "mom and pop" motel, it looked REAL clean and had wireless internet. It was on $59.95 a night so seemed like a real good deal.

I had it posted on t6p and I think here last year but since the crash can't find it.

Any idea's guys? I am off to Google to try and find it again.

Looking forward to meeting ALL of you guys/gals this year:cool:

Bout time TY! :) I'm planning on being there as of now. Be careful about what hotel you use and pick. I went 2 years ago and the host hotel was a dump for the most part. They also tried to screw me out of 600 bucks by billing me for 2 rooms that I did not have and the girl pocket my cash I put towards the room bill so they went after me for that one. It took over a year to clean that crap up with my CC company. The next year (last year) I reserve a room and something came up and I could not make it. I called 2 weeks prior to cancel my reservations. They tell my my reservations was already canceled. Ok... well didn't need it anyways so all is well right.. NOT! I get my credit card statement the next month and they billed me for 3 rooms for a week! I swear there is something in the water down there. Nice people but dumb as mud. Who knows what this year will bring! I might try some place away from the host hotel that's for sure. I also found out this kind of stuff happen to several others!

THANKS-

Does anybody have a "block" of rooms and I could get one off your hands? ZEROLAG "might" come with me if he can pry his walnuts out of his wifes purse;) Hi Darrell LOL

JC:biggrin: I have a bunch of Best Western points, maybe I should use them for a FREE room and save more money for food and alcohol:biggrin:

Host hotel is not the same as the past couple years... moved to new location.. I think it is best to stay where there are a lot of other Buick TR owners, then all you do is walk around hotel parking lot, it is like 24 hour Buick Show, if weather permits, people camp outside and talk, that is worth price of paying extra money...

Where might that be, do you know?

In the past, motels and hotels were listed on gsnationals.com website, regardless if they offered discounts, thus in 2009, hotels and motels offering deals to GS Nationals people attending, the list has been been stated below

Host Motel:
(mention GS Nationals Rate)
Comfort Inn: 270.843.1163

if you have govt or military rate, try without calling or verify online rate too, my govt/military rate was $70 per night.

Baymont Inn: 270.843.3200, 800.301.0200

Holiday Inn: 270.745.0088

Drury Inn, 800.325.0720

News Inn: 270.781.3460

Red Roof: 270.781.6550

I have not called and I do not know what the rates are...

You're not going to show up. At the last minute you're going to state that something came up and can't come; just like past years.

I'll believe it when I see you there. I'll be parked under the Hartline tent.

Ty, look me up if you do make it, I have nebraska plate-SIX CYL. FWIW we are staying at the best western motor inn again. The manager is rude but it's about the only thing I can find with an indoor pool that allows pets.
