brake problem when converting to 86/7?

i seen this mentioned a few times that the hydroboost setup wont work with the conversion. Any truth to this or tips? if anyone has done the conversion shoot me some tips, anything will help! thanks, steve

I have heard that the 84/85 setup is more reliable than the powermaster. Have you considered switching to a vacum setup. I have one that I pulled off of an 84 NA Regal, its complete with even the brake pedal. I was going to install it but decided to stay with the original setup.

I know the hydroboost is superior to both the powerDisaster and vacuum brakes...thats why im trying to find out if I can keep them on there after I convert. if not I'll go vacuum.
