Braking Issues

Need some feed back regarding the braking system on the 87' GN . I have the oringal powermaster still function well. Seems everyone I know have suffered major failures with these units. I want convert it to the hydroboost system but was wounding if it would be too much for the power steering pump ?!?!?!?
