BRF 200-4R Cores

I scored two complete BRF 200-4R cores today. Proper servos, valve bodies, etc.

Just wanted to gloat.

I scored a few of them for a real decent price a few years ago. I know one person who has one locally who want $500 as is, used, working.

i haven't been that fortunate yet. I have 3 200s sitting around. Two out of an oldsmobile and one AA. But i did manage to score a BQ valve body for a decent price. congrats on the find.

I only went to get 2 700 cores and 1 200-4R core. I got the two 700's and had one KC code 200-4R when I spotted the two BRF's. I told them "Yeah, I'll take those two also )

AA is a decent deal.

I just did a BY code VB on a 200-4R with Chris's Recalibration kit. I did some minor trimming on the gov and have 5000-5200 rpm WOT upshifts and the part throttle shifts are good.

Good info on the BY. I have been wanting to do one myself. I have 4 of them.

I have 22 CZ`s here already that I got in April.
5 BRF`s I picked up last week, and a couple BQ`s Wed.

To much clutter!

BRF cores complete are typically valued at about $400-600.
The VB's go for about $200-400, the servos for about $60-80, the governors for about $50-75.
I may Ebay one of these BRF cores but I'll probably keep one on hand for personal use and I still have all the other pieces seperate to build another BRF trans with the correct VB, servo, and gov.
