Bring tha GN back 2 life: Alky Q's

I'm trying to get my 86 GN back on tha road. I have tha basic Mods: Te 60/3 inch catback/downpipe/ cam/ etc.. I was just wondering if tha alky kit is worth spending $500. Whats tha purpose of this kit (if someone could give me a link to look at). More Boost and less knock above 18#. I'm planning on taking my car to tha track a few times. But im not gonna pound her to hard because of tha 197k motor. Which still runs strong and don't smoke. Also, can u find a good use one under Parts Wanted. Or is it better to buy a new one. If so, from who. Tks John​

Alky Control. If pump gas stock boost is usually no higher than 15psi(safe tune) Alcohol Injection boost 25-30psi. 1lb boost=10hp
That's 100-150hp. Yep it's worth it. Plus the safety of running with less chance of knock. Priceless!!

Didnt see scanmaster on the list.

Used kit is fine, the only thing is the pump. If your deal includes a new/rebuilt pump you should be fine. This way you install the system and not fret about any issue for years.

Yes I have a scanmaster. And I believe I have a upgraded pump. It's been yrs since these mods were done. Trying to fig out what I have and haven't done.

Runs of a 3 bar map on the fender. If your not sure exactly what you need, suggest you buy new.

I would buy new. Used will prob mean a replacement pump.
