Bruce i have some shipping damage

I got a hot loaded drum off of the parts for sale #3802 and there is a small chip out of the "top part" that has no clutchs in it ( dont know what it is called ,as you look at it the billet shaft splines are just poking thru this part . not in the very outer area but the next ring from the outer edge (there is a groove for a seal there ) just above the groove area maybe 1/8"deep and a 1/4" across. of alum missing down to the groove . i think i found all of the pieces . I guess i need to know if it needs to be replaced , it is mach. for the roller brg's i'm guessing its a stock part other than that .

Even though Mark purchased from another customer, and not a vendor, ( private party) I ageed to take care of it before this thread even existed, that I know of. I volunteerd, to replace or repair at no cost to him but freight. (And I didnt even sell it to him)
Try that with any other company!!!!!
I dont quite understand why the thread was posted , but I know I did my part.

damaged part

I did not mean to imply that Bruce was at fault .HE IS NOT . The person that i purchased the part from is not at fault either . it
Looks like very minor shipping damage (did not ship from Bruce ).
I was posting to see if Bruce could determine if i could use the part *as is* . I let a friend look at it tonight and and he told me the part is the center support and the lip where a snap ring goes is broke off(small 1/8" piece ).
Hope that clears it up. Thanks

Ok well send it back then. I will repair. or actually I am going to replace. Sorry the gorillas got to you. I do however suggest you report it to whoever shipped it and find out what can be done.
