This is what I've been afraid of.

I didn't tape the ends of the boxes. Those priority boxes I used I guess were being thrown around enough for the ends to open up. I need to refund you 1/2 of your payment if that's ok.

The box was in good condition. I had to use a razor blade in order to open it. It appeared to be taped.

Unfortunately, I didn't tape any of them.
There's a self adhesive flap. The one box that another guy got was opened on the ends - they are not adhesive ends, they just fold over and seem pretty tight to begin with.. but when the box deforms enough, stuff can fall out of them.

I need to make sure that you're ok with 1/2 your $ back. I just sent the refund to paypal. email privately if needed.

This is the first shipping incident that I have had that I can remember. Also, the first time I should have taped boxes when I didn't. They just seemed pretty sturdy when they're new. I think they get thrown around and the flaps aren't designed for the weight of the joints inside.
