I clicked on your link (wanted to check out your site) and was hit with a bunch of popups. Big turnoff....IMO Get rid of the popups and your site will grow.

I have to agree with Bill, pop ups are a definite turn off. I have a pop up blocker that does a really good job of keeping them at bay, still when I hear the pop up blocker doing it's job it still annoys me to know that somebody is trying to bombard me with advertisements and such. It's kind of a reminder not to visit that site again.

Pop-ups

I know I hate the pop-up ads too. But where I published the site they use pop-up ads to pay for there web hosting and I cant get rid of the pop-up ads except for using a pop-up blocker like everyone else said about using. I use the pop-up blocker that my Google toolbar provides for me.

You pay the $25/year domain registration fee through them, and get 20MB of web space for free (no pop-ups, etc.). I use them for the West Coast Nationals site, and have little problem (I think the site was down for about 2 hours once, but that's it).
