Well there has been some differances in oppinions on wether to have Music incorporated during the whole DVD or have just the normal sound.

The ( Reynolds 2008 DVD ) was done with normal sound then a bonus video with music at the end.

Some have liked the whole DVD with music.
Some have liked the whole DVD without music.

Please Post below what you prefer. Your feedback will give Nelson some kind of idea what the majority of the members like.

Thank You for your input!

I myself like the Movie theme approch with some dramatic movie music and then some natural sound and then some music mixed in..

I like the music in the background while still being able to hear the Buicks roar down the track. I also like the slow motion of the wheels up launches.

I am looking forward to seeing the in car video going down the track.

My favorite part of the 2009 BG video would be a certain person finishing something he started this year by running a certain number in TSM trim.

Well sound can be considered 80% of the movie, you can have great acting and have great shot composer, but if the sound sucks, then the movie is trash. As long as the music dbs is low enough to hear the car's dbs levels, I don't see what will people complain about. What program are you using to make the master DVD? Since the audio is rendered separate from the video, You can just make music be an option before you play it. But I wouldn't do that, since the music used, should serve a particle purpose in a scene.

Well we know how to use and add the music in dbs just fine and have done it in the past. There has been people who do & don't like the CHOICE of music used at times. It's hard to please EVERYONE and there Taste! ;)

So thats the purpose of this thread to see just how many WOULD like music with the DVD and how many WOULD'NT like the music with the DVD.

Not sure how much work it would be,But how about 2 tracks?
Identical video but you chose music or not when you go to watch it?

Me too! But please do something other than TurboLover or Back in Black :)

Iam a Judas Priest fan also, but Turbo Lover has to be one of their worst songs

I like the reynolds video.08.
i like the music as an intro / but the natural sound of runs down the track so for me...

Intro & outro = music
actual runs= no music. jmo

I like they way it was done... Music in intro .. natural sounds for the bulk of the runs then some bonus tracks with music. If the music happens to be something you don't like then it really takes away from the DVD.

Glad you liked it Sully, I think I may make all future DVD's the same way. Although I may also make the 'Bonus Videos' longer for those like myself that truly enjoy the music with the video. I think it worked out great! By the way, you made a few killer runs, congrats!

Guy's thanks for the responce on this! It will help us in the future to make everyone happy. or at least try too..
