On vacation in Switzerland. I've seen some strange vehicles but most interesting was a 71 or 2 Buick GS. I also talked to guy in a resturant that had a bunch of Mustang tatoos (351, ford and the horse). He liked American Muscle cars and he knew about Turbo Buicks too. Pretty cool.

Pronto - Their is actually a Swiss Buick Club. I never made it the their annual show when I was over there, but was a member of the Dutch Buick Club when I had my car in Holland (2005-2006).

Here is the Swiss Buick Club's website: Classic Buick Club The website does indicate their are a couple 70-72 GS's over there.

The last time I was in Switzerland I actually saw a GMC Typhoon driving through the snow.

Here are a few pictures of an "All Buick Cruise" I did in Holland. I picked a few pics that had my car in them as well as some other Buicks in Holland.

We were on a ferry crossing one of the rivers in Holland:

Another pic, stopped in line waiting for someone to figure out where we were going:

I actually went to more American car shows in Holland than I have in the states. And more people actually new what the "T" was than in America.

I am hoping to go back and work one of these days and take the Buick back again.

Switzerland is very rich country. There's tons of BMWs and Mercedes. Alfa Romeos are popular too. I don't know some of models since they don't sell them in America. Way more manuals and they drive fast.

The land is beautiful. Green hills, tremendous mountains and lots of pretty women. So far my most favorite areas are in the Italian and French speaking areas.

I didn't think you knew how to push the pedal that hard.

Switzerland is nice and clean, like Austria. Whats weird is going south over the Gotard and leaving basically german like area and entering Italy and still in Switzerland.
I saw a 58 plymouth in germany with a opal engine - talk about a empty engine bay.
And a 59 Caddie. Talked to the owner, he said there are a lot of streets he can't drive down because there isn't enough room to turn a corner.
Last trip saw a 79+/- Gold Trans Am.

Our last stop was Lucerne. A white first gen Camaro went whizzing by when we were crossing the main drag.
I would recommend going to Switzerland and neighboring countries if anyone gets a chance. We have mountains here in NH but they are like bumps to the ones there. It's very clean but I still saw plenty of tagging even in very rural areas which I guess is kids rebelling. On many levels we are far behind them. The road and bridge engineering is amazing. The trains are smooth running and precisely on time. Overall the population is in shape. It's easy to spot Americans, since most travelers are fat. They do lots of walking/hiking and bike riding, even old folks. Fashion is definately important. Business men wear expensive Italian suits. People wear jeans but somehow they look more dresses up. The women for the most part are pretty. Nice skin and slim. Most people don't seem in a rush except when driving. They go to Cafe's and sit and talk and sip a coffee. I was disappointed in how much smoking there is. There's still cigarette machines around. Food was good too. There's many different types but many have an Italian style. Pizza was hugely popular. When I get a chance I'll post a few pics.

Ya, my money is there but not in a bank. It is very expensive there. The only thing cheap is BEER.
