Groovy. Where's your car in all of that? Glad you can drive and race yours, I turned in the plates on mine as I don't drive it anymore. (But I still sit in it and make VROOM noises in my parking stall...!)

Hey Ian,
Good to hear from you. Hows work?? Tell everyone I said HI! As far as the GN goes, the engine is at the machine shop still....since Sep 29th. Its getting a full rebuild with some forged pistons and a slightly larger cam. The shop is doing the machining and I'm planning on doing the assembly. I was hoping that I'd have it done in time for this event but, never happened. Theres always next year. Whats wrong with your car?? Is it still the engine idle/won't run problem?? Hopefully someone there could help you out with it.

I think it's the MAF, Scanmaster readings were spurious at times. Sometimes it runs okay, other times it sucks beans. Saving my pennies for a Translator and LS1 MAF, and forget about the stock setup.

Funny seeiing you on the roads today, I was like, "who's this Honduh Pez-Head in this beat-up car trying to intimidate?" so I took the off-ramp a little hot. Curse top-heavy cars... Then I was all, "oh, look, it's Derek... DEREK?!?!" You must have been laughing for a good while at my double-take... Just visiting family?
