building the 2004r

i want to build my 2004r to take about 400-450lb/ft of trq. what do i need to do? i don't want to take it apart completely becaust i don't know that much about trannys. my brother can help me, he's been working at a dealer on trannys for about 4 months now so i should be able to do most thngs short of taking it completely apart.

i'm on a pretty tight budget so i need to do it as inexpensively as possible.
let me know what you have done to yours and how it is working. thx.

Honestly, if you're unwilling to disassemble the unit, you won't be able to install the required enhancements. The only things you can do from the 'outside' are a valve body kit and servo changes. Take some time to read this post: ATTENTION!!!! NEW VERSION!! Strengthening The 2004r
