Bulletproof 200-4r

Hey guys hopefully you will take in a fellow G-body owner even though I have a V-8 in my car lol. I was referred to this site by the guys at montecarloss.com. I am in the market for a bulletproof 200-4r. A complete trans with 2500-3000 rpm (lock-up converter) for a resonable price. I have approximately 350 horse and 400 ft-lbs of torque and I want to be able to beat the hell out of it without worrying about blowing it up. I am currently on my 2nd rebuilt 200 and the guys that did it are not real familar with making them indestructible. They just keep telling me to put a TH-350 in it, but for a daily driver with 3.73 gears that is not an option. 1 more thing is the first rebuilt trans I got they used an aftermarket converter in it and it was slamming into gear. Like from park to drive it felt like I was putting the trans into gear while the engine was turning 1200! Do all aftermarket converts do this?
