Hey guys I am installing some Strange C Clip eliminators onto my Moser stock replacement axles in my GN. I measured the interference fit of the bearings and axles and it seems way too tight. My quick measurement gave me .004-.006 interference. I dont want to break the wedding ring or the inner race by pressing it on too tight. Does anyone know what the proper fit is supposed to be? Trying to get this buttoned up tomorrow. Thanks.

Even though the moser axles are the stock replacement axles? I figured if they fit with stock axle seals then the c clipeliminator seal should fit. ?????

the stock axle seals have to come off the OE axle bearing pulled out and then the end of the axle tube cut off

as for fit see the thread i put above

OE axle seals and bearings are removed. End of axle is cut properly. Backing plate is modified for a flush fit. I will have to take another look at the way the back of the flange looks.

Well I double checked everything and it looked like there wouldn't be any problems with fitment. Long story short, everything went together smoothly and fit like they were made for each other. Gotta bleed the wheel cylinders tomorrow and button up a few loose ends.

It took a lot longer than I thought it would. I did one side completely before I took apart the other side. Cutting the axle tube was a little nerve racking. All in all it took me about 10 hours to complete. That included a couple of hours trying to find a friend with a press and making damn sure to make no mistakes. The second side went really fast compared to the first. I could do the next car in probably 3-4 hours.
