MPH TALK...
I have new 3.42's and run a 275/60/15 drag radial (28 in tall)
I leave it in third and run 129mph at 6100 rpm(trap rpm)

your converter is at about 20% slippage
my art carr 9" nl (2004r) was about the same pushing that hard in third

See i was kinda thinkin new converter this winter
and yes it is an art carr 16930
Or just put in this 400 thats laying around here...just afraid of lowing that nice low first gear...
your opinion?

I would love one of those PTC Converters I hear they have like a 5% slippage, that's amazing. I'm also running an Art Carr 9 inch.

How much are one of those PTC 9.5 conerters? What's the stall speed and part #?
I hear their around $900 ???
I'm also told by Jason of RJC Racing that I would pick up a few more MPH and ET with one of those.
I'm running 122.1 now with an Art Carr 9 inch. On pump 91 & Alky
