The cabin air filter is right next to the second of the twin turbo's

Actually there is (or was) a small foam filter before the evaporator.

I bet that this is already pushed thru and non existent.

At least mine had one, not easy to replace though.

Huh, glad I could spark so many funny comments! I was being lazy, spilled some brake fluid during a change and trying to get the smell out, but Turning the air on made it worse, that's why I asked.

So no, got it thanks.

Spilled it inside the engine bay and ya I'm tracking brake fluid eats paint. We're getting off topic, so no tricks to filter the air coming into the car.
