I believe I read somewhere that you were using a CZ valvebody in your Regal. Is it because you could not find a BQ or BR valvebody. Also, I read that you were using a dual fan from a Z-28. How did you wire it up? Using a 86-87 computer or wired directly from the battery to the fuse box. What is the lastest on your car? I am in the process of making changes to my car and I have followed your car (and Scott Porter's T-Type).

I have a CZ valve body I bought off a board member. It has not been put in a trans yet. It was at a good price, so I bought it as a spare. I have an 87 BRF that my wifes first born gave me. I can/t tell any difference in it and my 85 BQ as far as shifting hard. Yes my son and I and Scott when he gets his new ride going are, are using the dual fan set up off the late model Z and Tran Am. I am using a adj. thermostat from NAPA, that goes in the upper rad. hose, which signals a relay to turn the fans on. The fans, when in the Z/s, are wired to come on one at a time. I wired them together so they both run or don/t run at the same time. These fans are GREAT. You can watch the temp gage drop when they come on. Some what hard to find in the bone yard, being late model. You won/t find any in Central IN. I am always on the look out for them.
So no, they are not controlled by the computer.
I have a fresh Stage II short block in my car, Looking for some reliability, and higher than 22 psi, with all my old parts on it ( heads, intake, headers, alky) John Craig built me a new 66 turbo, using an 87 housing. I could not gain anything if I went above 22 lbs. of boost last year. Had it out on a country road yesterday. I was not that impressed with it. Will be CARRYING it to Norwalk Sunday,( I notice you/all in Bama like to CARRY your stuff instead of haul it) hopefully I won/t come home licking my wounds.

dual fans.........

Make sure your battery and alt. are in good order. Those dual fans really suck the juice out of the car. I run the same set-up as dad but I got my adj. thermostat switch from AutoZone. I have never seen over 180 degs since I installed the fans. Thats after a hi-ten second pass with an old Spearco front mount and a stock rad.

Edelbrock cam

What do you or BIG DADDY, think of the Edelbrock 204-214 for the Buick V6. I can get this cam/lifter combo for 69.99. I know you are partial to the ESP/Lunati/Scheider Cam. I also would use CC980 springs. What stall speed would be needed for a cam combo of this nature. BTW are using A/C on your car. I was curious to know if you drive it around town. I got my dual fans for $50.00 . I plan to wire it with a temp-thermostate, to turn it on at 200, off at 180.

204-214 works good for me (speed pro) same specs as edelbrock 204-214 also same specks as esp's 204-214

actually i started today ..they removed all the teeth on one side of my mouth including the wisdom teeth which had to be cut into 3 pieces to get out cause the root hooked like a U on the end and couldnt be pulled...

also they are splitting my gums back and doing a bone reduction because i am going to be fitted for dentures when this crap is over but my bones are too large and pertrude outward so they have to gride then down so the gums dont have lumps of bone sticking out.

and yep i stayed awake and watched them do it...YUCK

now im just getting to where i can close my mouth and swallow so i've beensitting here sucking some ensure down and spitting blood...not fun but i will be much better off when its over with.
